Fruit for less than the grocery store

While there are a lot of great specials available this month, I wanted to point out one in particular before the end of the month.  I know a lot of you have already taken advantage of it, but I wanted to make sure that any new readers were aware of it.

This is the least expensive way I’ve ever seen (through THRIVE Life (formerly Shelf Reliance) or anyone else) to purchase freeze dried fruit.  With the way grocery prices are increasing, I would highly suggest you purchase this package for your own home store now if at all possible.  Some of the fruits (like the apricots, blackberries, blueberries, raspberries, pineapple and mangoes are much cheaper in this package than they are at the grocery store)
If you’ve never had freeze dried fruit, IT IS AMAZING.  My kids call it candy (seriously) and eat it eagerly.  It has no added sugar or other preservatives, and has all the same nutrients as the fresh product (in fact some studies show it may have more than product you purchase at the grocery store).  It can also be re-hydrated (unlike dehydrated fruits) and used in recipes like these “pacos,” these blueberry muffins, or this raspberry sauce.
