Other’s Insights:

  1. I was wondering about getting these things in Canada. Either shipping rates, or Canadian distributors.
I would also be interested in trying out some of the products and recipes for my blog.

I need a way to organize my canned goods so that I can rotate them. I always buy extra cans when grocery shopping but they have a tendency to get lost in the shuffle or crack from the weight of stacking. I really need one of Thrive’s wonderful shelves to correct this problem. However, the Salvation Army’s food bank greatly appreciated the canned goods during the holiday season. It is nice to know that someone enjoyed a hot bowl of soup during a very stressfull time of the year.

How were you able to leave this comment Mary? You should be able to enter a comment on the giveaway page the same way. If that doesn’t work, then email me your comment and I will post it for you! (-:

    Hi Misty

I’m the Managing Editor at freedomprepper.com, and I would love to feature you as a guest contributor on the site. We focus on prepping and survival, but we always appreciate big picture political topics as they relate to our rights.

Just to give you a quick background on Freedom Prepper, we’ve built a very loyal community of preppers, survivalists and patriots who are very passionate about being ready for surviving a crisis, and standing up for what’s right. Now, we’re focusing on building the Freedom Prepper brand to a whole new level!

To do that, we need some expert contributors like you. Of course, we’d love to promote you, your blog, your book, etc. on the blog.

Let me know if you’re interested. I’d love to chat! Email me at Scott@freedomprepper.com

    Best,
    Scott Hughes

Hi Misty, I received an email that mentioned the promotion 1-2-3. I cannot however for the life of me find the actual information, rules, lists etc. Can you please guide to this information as I would like to be a part of the promotion.
    Thanks Liz

Frameless candles are a great idea when there are little kids around. We use them as night lights with the grandkids as ours have a timer and shut off automatically. Also use the tea light flame less to illuminate hallways and stairs during power outages prior to getting the generator running. They shed enough light to walk safely and your hands are free. They also illuminate enough area the dogs don’t freak out like they do with the headlamps.

Are consultants still allowed to have web sites like yours or are they limited to having only the web site referenced on the shelf reliance web site? On the web site, all the consultant site looks the same with the exception of the consultant picture in the right hand corner. Did you pay more than the $9.99 for your site?

    • Misty says:

Yes, many consultants have blogs such as mine. It is rare in the direct selling industry, but Shelf Reliance does allow. They do have to approve it and their are a few rules, but it is allowed (yay!)

But in order for it to really be a benefit, you also need the $9.99 consultant site so your readers have somewhere to purchase where you get credit. You don’t have to link to the page with the picture. You can link directly to a product and still get credit.

I do pay for this site/blog (not to Shelf Reliance, I pay bluehost to host it for me), because I prefer wordpress, but many consultants also use blogger which is free.

  9. Misty says:

Sorry about the confusion Linda! Instead of clicking on the image that looks like an envelope, try clicking on the actual word "comment" directly to the left of it (right now it says "7 comments", but the number will change as more people comment. I hope that helps!
